How a piece arrives

Made to order in Cairo. Delivered by hand. Installed, when you ask us to.

The lead time

Every IDÉE piece is made to order. We do not hold stock.

Six to eight weeks for delivery in Cairo and Beirut. Eight to twelve weeks for the Gulf. Twelve weeks or more for Europe and beyond.

We send three updates during the build, with photographs from the workshop. You will know who made the piece, when it was finished, and when it left Damietta.

Where we deliver

Egypt

We deliver to every governorate. Cairo metro receives a faster window; greater Egypt takes a few days longer.

Lebanon

Beirut and surrounding areas. We coordinate with a regional freight partner; the piece travels in our packaging, with our paperwork.

The Gulf

UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman — by quote. Freight is priced per piece; we handle the customs paperwork.

The rest of the world

We ship to Europe and North America by quote. Email us before you order; we'll return a freight quote within 48 hours.

Standard delivery and white-glove

Two options on every order:

Standard delivery

The piece arrives at your door, in its reusable packaging. You open it and place it. Best for smaller pieces — chairs, side tables, lamps, objects.

White-glove delivery and assembly

Recommended for larger pieces. Our team brings the piece inside, unpacks it, assembles it where you want it, and removes the packaging for re-use. We make sure the piece is level, the feet are felted, and the surfaces are oiled and ready.

The packaging

Every IDÉE piece ships in our Reusable Packaging — a crate that becomes a side table, a linen sleeve that becomes a laundry bag, jars that become pantry storage, manuals that become herb gardens. Nothing arrives that's meant to be thrown away.

If a piece arrives damaged

We collect it. We fix it. If a piece arrives with shipping damage, we replace or repair it at no cost. Most repairs take ten days.
